Founder, Creative Mixologist & Saki + Fred’s Mom/Boss
After 26 years behind the bar, I learned how to do a lot more than pour drinks, I learned how to tell stories, create experiences, and keep people coming back for more. These days, I use those same skills to help brands find their voice and bring their vision to life.

Through Unearthed Design, I combine my love of hospitality with my passion for design, branding, and social media. Whether I’m crafting a menu, designing a website, or building a brand from the ground up, I approach it the same way I would a cocktail with the right balance of ingredients, a splash of creativity, and a twist that makes it unforgettable.

When I’m not working on client projects, you’ll find me outside on our front porch in the mountains of Asheville, NC, with my “team”, Saki (Head of HR & Queen of Sass) and Fred (Keeper of Snacks). Together, we keep the ideas (and snack breaks) flowing.

Head of HR
Saki keeps everyone on their toes — literally. As Head of HR, she enforces the rules (mostly her own), hands out plenty of sass, and makes sure the team doesn’t take themselves too seriously. Her midday zoomies are non-negotiable and double as mandatory team-building exercises. Saki brings energy, attitude, and just the right amount of chaos to keep the workday lively.

Keeper of Snacks & Chief Nap Officer
Fred is always the first one ready to go in the morning — mostly because breakfast is the most important meeting of the day. He guards the snack stash with pride, takes his midday naps very seriously, and alerts the team (loudly) whenever packages arrive. Fred’s job is to keep morale high and make sure no one forgets the importance of snack breaks.
